The Genius That Was Michael
Anyone who takes a little bit of time to study the makeup of the human being, Michael Jackson, will understand what he has always communicated through his art and his humanitarian efforts. Listen to what he shares with us through his own unedited words. Read what he himself has written throughout his lifetime in his books, lyrics to his songs, in film, and the love he professes for the God he so humbly speaks of. Learn about the genius, God given gifts of Michael from Michael himself. Spend several days on Youtube and the internet just searching his name and you will come away a totally different person, with a totally different point of view. Oh of course, there will be the curt and carass stories and jokes portraying him as the strange freak that the media tried to make him out to be. But you most assuredly will come forth with many more facts rather than just stories of a man filled with genius, talent, compassion and a God inspired love for his fellowman.
It was so heartbreaking for him and those that care deeply, to soarly discover that, this is not how the general public and the mass media operate. People tend to believe what they hear and read without a complete investigation and the media will write their own version of the "truth." It is through this ever pervasive and worsening phenomenon that the "enemy" (evil) moves within our world. We all need to learn how to recognize and discern this evil.
There is a concept that we all need to comprehend. A concept that eventually lead an entire culture in the wrong direction and made a major contribution to the destruction and demise of one of the most beautiful and giving human beings in modern history. The enemy put in serious hours of destructive overtime in Michael's life. It began in a childhood atmosphere of physical and emotional abuse, continued throughout his life and it can pretty much readily be said, it ended the same way. Michael did of course sometimes not make it easy on himself, for he, at times, prescribed to the circus atmosphere of public relations, what he called mystery, that sometimes “maybe any news is good news.” He had this affair, as much as he hated them, with the media of playing and portraying a mystique about himself and his identity. But, somehow, with the mass media and with the population at large, the boundaries of his idiosyncratic lifestyle became confused and blurred. Here we soon found that objective journalism flew out the window and the rummer mill, with the influential monetary gain of the tabloid media would prevail on his life. They became rich off of airing or printing anything they wanted, and because of his mystery persona, could print anything about Michael and it would be believable. Why? Simply because it was Michael Jackson. So many, just manufacturing untruths to feed off of a loving and giving human being. Michael believed strongly in the the quote; “ The love of money is the root of all evil.” How many of us could have lived on a daily basis of facing constant pain of such cruelty and ridicule? This was used over and over just for others to build their global empires.
If you will read author Aphrodite Jones book "Michael Jackson Conspiracy" she does reveal in her writing on a first hand basis, that she was once one of the media's strongest supporters portraying distain for Michael and joining the masses. Sitting through his 2005 trial she did a complete about face on her opinion of his innocence and she speaks in one aspect of media involvement in the barrage of evil forces upon Michael. This evil came in not only the form of his accusers, the district attorney, and the media at large, but also those whom he some trusted as friends who in doing nothing proved their loyalty. It is a lesson in organized discrimination and brutality. If you read Aphrodite's book you will find truth concerning the 2005 trial. In a book called “Redemption” pinned by legal assistant to the Chandler's attorney in the 1993 charges against Michael, Geraldine Hughes, you will find the same truth. Though it was proven that Jordan Chandler's father, Evan, planned extortion for Michael in 1993, and though Michael was found innocent on all counts in a court of law on June 13, 2005, Michael has forever been drug through mud filled trenches of libel, slanderous claims, and complete lies about him from as long as we all can remember.
Michael spoke and wrote openly of his God, Jesus, and his faith and many of his lyrics were filled with Christian values. He had his share of flaws, as do we all, but Michael led to many a very moral life. He was raised on the Word of God, the Bible, and understood God's purpose for him and his life. He spent his life always thanking God and giving credit to the Lord for all the gifts and talents that flowed through him.
Quote: I wrote "Will You Be There?" at my house, "Never Land" in California....I didn't think about it hard. Thats why its hard to take credit for the songs that I write, because I just always feel that it's done from above. I feel fortunate for being that instrument through which music flows. I'm just the source through which it comes. I can't take credit for it because it's Gods work. He's just using me as the messenger.... Ebony 2002 MJ
Most importantly he learned and thrived on one concept. That concept, if the world at large could learn and would follow in his footsteps, that concept of love from his Heavenly Father. It is the concept of Godly Love, the world could be healed and be the better place he longed and strived for.
Quote: "...But I will never stop helping and loving people the way Jesus said to."MJ
What is it we can as fellow human beings gleen from such a torchered and yet sometime blissful life?
One thing that genius refers to a level of aptitude, capability or achievement which exceeds even that of most other exceptional contemporaries in the same field. And oh did Michael Jackson ever surpass his contemporaries, past, present and future. Not only with his art, but more importantly with his heart.
Michael's genius was more than just originality, creativity, or intelligence. His genius is associated with achievement of insight which had and even now still has transformational power, especailly for the children he loved dearly. A work of genius that fundamentally altered the expectations of his audience, in the likes of Princess Diana, Martin Luther King Jr. and even Mother Theresa. What is that power? What is that genius that even Michael did not have a monoploy on. The power he posessed that he tried with every fiber of his being to profess to us all to envelope ourselves in, as he did. That genius power, the power of L.O.V.E.

♫ ♪ I Just Can't Stop Loving You ♫♪
Contemplating on a message forum this week with some beautiful MJ sisters, we were trying to figure out the reasoning of why Michael's fans,in particular us, can feel so deeply for him and the unrecognizable pain his loss has brought to so many in the world.That is such a challenging contemplation when so many others cannot fathom the sorrow or even give a damn. Some of us felt it's just a feeling, while others thought maybe a psychologist was in order. Whatever our individual solutions, we all knew it was a fever that was capture by not just us, but millions. Yes! MJ Fevor! But why? Was'nt he just a man looking for the same things the entire human race searches for in a lifetime? Sometimes with strange and unorthadox ways of doing things? What is about him that even still draws the harshest of hearts to him at the days end? Maybe, just maybe, its the light of L.O.V.E.<3 The light from the love of his God whom he said used him as His instrument to reach the multitudes around the world.
Quote@I~~ "IT IS NATURAL for all of us to feel the way we all do, because Michael was in effect EVERYTHING you ever wanted, idolized, needed- your perfect brother, perfect lover, artist par excellence."
{So true sweet I~~ and I also believe the fact because he is bigger than life and so UNATTAINABLE (even when he was physically here) so much more drawing and desirable♥ And he always said to us all: " I Love You"♥ Who can resist LOVE?
It is surely what all of our hearts desire~~~
THEREFORE Michael's love for us says:"I don't feel it much when you are far from me because your love has created something in my heart that no matter the distance, the closer your heart is to mine."}
Quote:@B~~"Michael crawled into my heart after June 25 and I feel like he is curled up in there, in the fetal position, pulling on the muscle from the inside and crying, "Let me know when the bad people are gone and I will come out." I absolutely cannot kick him out to focus on anything else. We have to get rid of the bad people. I want Michael to have faith in people again and that won't happen unless the guilt are brought to justice. "
Oh! Yes!{AND THEN THERE IS THE PROTECTIVE MOTHER IN US ALL!! The Mother instinct that will protect their child with their own lives if necessary! Michael the little child that B~~ discribes here that begged each one of us when he spoke of his inner child to: Love me, don't judge me! Be my Soldier's of L.O.V.E., and protect me(I'm a little boy inside)♥ I need you to protect me~`}
That's what we each feel for him that pulls at your heartstrings~~ The beautiful man you want to hold and get close to because of his heart, compassion, sexiness, unexplainable mystery....
Then you just want to hold, comfort, console and protect the little boy that needs to be protected so badly♥ The little boy that was scared from early childhood and never allowed the sweet innocence that develops a child's heart and mind naturally.
How can you fight and deal with those tremendous feelings along with feelings of frustation that your hands are tied and there is nothing you can do in either situation?....Maybe the answer lies withing Michael himself!! Just Maybe! Maybe it was just the L.O.V.E. he was called to proclaim. Whatever it was, each one proclaimed...Michael, "I Just Can't Stop Loving You!"

♥ God Bless Thomas Mesereau ♥
Michael's trial lawyer Thomas Mesereau said - "'Michael was a very good person. But unfortunately when you’re that much of a genius, and you’re that wealthy, all of the sharks are going to come forward, and when you combine with that a certain level of naivety, a person who just didn’t want to be wrapped up in money matters all of the time or legal matters. He wanted to do creative things, he wanted to do humanitarian things. That makes him even more of a target for frivolous lawsuits and frivolous claims.'" 2005

Remembering "Smelly" Jelly
In discribing the making of the fantastic highest selling album of all time "Thiller", revealed in the pages of Quincy Jone's 2001 autobiography, it was amusing to find his explanation of the nickname that he and Steven Spielburg used for Michael.
The making of Thriller in a little more than two months was like riding a rocket. Everything about it was done at hyperspeed. Rod Temperton, who also co-wrote several of the album’s songs, and I listened to nearly 600 songs before picking out a dozen we liked. Rod would then submit to me about thirty-three of his own songs on totally complete demos with bass lines, counter lines, and all, recorded on the Temperton high-tech system of bouncing the sound of two cassette recordings between ghetto blasters, and ten to twenty-five alternate titles for each song, with the beginnings of lyric schemes. He was absolutely the best to work with—always totally prepared, not one drop of b.s. We have always kept it very real with each other, exchanging strong opinions and comments without ever “throwing a wobbly”—British slang for “losing it.” He’s the kind of warrior you want at your side on the battlefield.
Michael was also writing music like a machine. He could really crank it up. In the time I worked with him he wrote three of the songs on Off the Wall, four on Thriller, and six on Bad. At this point on Thriller I’d been bugging him for months to write a Michael Jackson version of “My Sharona.” One day I went to his house and said, “Smelly, give it up. The train is leaving the station.” He said, “Quincy, I got this thing I want you to hear, but it’s not finished yet. I don’t have any vocals on it.”
I called Michael “Smelly” because when he liked a piece of music or a certain beat, instead of calling it funky, he’d call it “smelly jelly.” When it was really good, he’d say, “That’s some smelly jelly.” I said, “Smelly, it’s getting late. Let’s do it.”
I took him to the studio inside his house. He called his engineer and we stacked the vocals on then and there. Michael sang his heart out. The song was “Beat It.”
We knew the music was hot. On “Beat It” the level was literally so hot that at one point in the studio Bruce Swedien called us over and the right speaker burst into flames. We’d never seen anything like that in forty years in the business.
Who could have ever imagined that one of the most sought after voices, talents, and faces of genius in the world, could and would be discribed, eventhough it be affectionatley as "Smelly"? Michael Jackson has been discribed with a plethora of descriptive words in his lifetime, but "Smelly"? Would we have loved to have the chance to call him that?
